Terms of Service

1. Overview

CarVault Pro helps users store vehicle details, maintenance history, receipts, reminders, and related account preferences. These Terms apply to the CarVault Pro mobile app, websites, support services, and related features.

In these Terms, "CarVault Pro", "we", "us", and "our" mean the operator of CarVault Pro. "You" means the person using the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use online services in your country and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use CarVault Pro only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.

CarVault Pro is not directed to children under 13, and you must not use the service if you are under 13.

3. Accounts and Security

You may need an account to use core features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.

• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You should tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• We may require email verification or other security checks to protect your account.

4. Using CarVault Pro

You may use CarVault Pro for personal vehicle organization, maintenance tracking, reminders, receipt storage, and related account management. You agree not to misuse the service or interfere with its normal operation.

• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass security controls.
• Do not use CarVault Pro to violate the rights of another person or business.

5. Maintenance Reminders

CarVault Pro may provide service reminders, mileage tracking, and maintenance suggestions. These features are for organization only. They are not professional mechanical, safety, warranty, insurance, or legal advice.

You are responsible for checking your vehicle manual, manufacturer guidance, service provider recommendations, and applicable laws.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases are usually processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.

• Prices, trial periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown before purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in your Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds and billing disputes may be handled by the app store or payment provider used for the purchase.
• If you cancel, access to paid features may continue until the end of the current billing period.

7. Your Content

You keep ownership of the vehicle details, photos, receipts, notes, and other content you add to CarVault Pro. You give us permission to store, process, display, back up, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and support the service.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and use your content in CarVault Pro.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete personal information. It also explains privacy choices and rights that may apply to UK and US users.

9. Third-Party Services

CarVault Pro may work with third-party services, including app stores, authentication providers, cloud services, analytics, notification providers, and subscription management tools. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep CarVault Pro reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may update, suspend, or remove features where reasonably needed, including for security, legal, technical, or business reasons.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

CarVault Pro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that reminders, records, or suggestions will be complete, accurate, or suitable for every vehicle or situation.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract. For UK users, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using CarVault Pro at any time. You may also request account deletion through the app or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or used the service unlawfully.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If a required local law gives you stronger rights than these Terms, that local law will apply to the extent required.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as through the app, email, or an updated notice on this page. The "Effective" date shows when this version applies.
